ARTHUR R. HASSELBRINK

 

Arthur R. Hasselbrink…born and raised in Chicago, Illinois is one of the organization’s founders, and currently serves as its President and CEO.  Arthur “Art” served in the United States Navy during WWII from 1943 to 1946 and in the Korean War from 1949 to 1952.  In both Tours of Duty, Art served as a member of the Seabees.

 

Following his service in WWII to our great Nation, Art received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University.  A true patriot with a deep love for his country, Art brings a unique blend of life experiences and business acumen to the organization.  His professional experiences include helping to serve and protect the citizens of Los Angeles City as a member of the Los Angeles Police Department before starting his own construction company.  As a General Contractor, Art specialized in building high rise projects, hotels, commercial shopping centers, tenant improvements, and residential projects.

 

For more than two decades, Art has dedicated himself to serving non-profit organizations.  He has served as President of the Navy League - Orange Country Council, President and Treasurer of The Wilshire Community Police Council, and an Advisory Board Member of the Salvation Army, Orange County Chapter.  To date, Art continues to serve as Board Members to both the Navy League and The Wilshire Community Police Council.
