MAMIE YONG MAYWHORT

Mamie Yong Maywhort…resident of San Juan Capistrano, California is the wife of former U.S. Coast Guard service member, Adam J. Maywhort.  Mamie’s passion and commitment to support and honor our military service members and their families propelled her to join Homefront America as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer.

A professional with a successful track record, Mamie brings nearly thirty years of business “Best Practices” to Homefront America.  Her professional qualifications include an extensive background in Banking Operations, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources Management, and Business Administration.  She has held positions as Assistant Controller, Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and Human Resources Director.   An Accountant by profession, Mamie is also a credential Vocational Instructor in Computerized Accounting. 

In 1993, Mamie started her own consulting business specializing in Accounting, Human Resources, and other related Business Administrative Services for small and medium sized businesses.   Her self-motivation, business ethics, keen eye for detail, and exceptional organizational skills have been the building block of her success.

Mamie is a graduate of Chapman University located in Orange, California.   In addition to her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Economics, Mamie also holds a teacher’s credential in Vocational Education from California State University, Long Beach.

In her spare time, Mamie enjoys running, biking, reading, and doing volunteer work.
