Re:       2008 American Patriot Freedom Scholarship

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your participation in our 2008 American Patriot Freedom Scholarship program.  A total of nearly 700 essays were received from around the globe, and every essay was wonderfully written and deserving of recognition.

As a WWII and Korean War Veteran, I was deeply touched by so many of your essays.  You wrote eloquently of your love for our Country, the admiration and respect you have for your parents, your gratitude for the lessons your parents have taught you, and the challenges you have overcome.

It is my hope this scholarship will help to assist you in reaching your academic goals.  Needless to say, we are extremely grateful to the Saras Hope, It’s a Wonderful World for once again providing the grant to help fund The American Patriot Freedom Scholarship program.

In closing, I would like to say on behalf of the Tate Family and their Foundation, Homefront America’s Board of Directors, Advisory Board Members, our brilliant panel of judges, and other selfless volunteers who worked tirelessly to help coordinate and administer the 2008 America Patriot Freedom Scholarship program - congratulations to each and every one of you for a job well done.

As always, my best to all of you in your future endeavors.
